Saucon Slams Slaters To Remain Unbeaten (Brought to You by Cafe Erica)

The Saucon Valley Panthers improved to a 6-0 record in the Colonial League with a convincing victory over the Bangor Slaters.  Saucon used a punishing ground attack that earned 23 1st Downs in the 48-12 win against the Slaters.  The stingy Panther defense gave up only eight 1st Downs and 73 rushing yards.  It was a great night for Saucon Valley football.

The Friday night lights will be burning bright up in Bangor as the Slaters (3-2), on their Homecoming night, will play an eager host to the undefeated Saucon Valley Panthers.   After last week's mercy-rule victory over Northern Lehigh, Saucon Valley is expecting a four-quarter slugfest.

FC Steel: State of the Steel IV (Sponsored)

FC Steel, a youth soccer organization that is headquartered in Saucon Valley, had most of their programs in action over the weekend in league play.  Both FC Steel boys' and girls' teams are participating in the prestigious Eastern Development Program (EDP) this year.  The EDP league is an ultra-competitive travel soccer league that arranges for high-level teams to compete against one another on a routine basis.

Week Five Krunch Time: Gotta Go To Mo (Brought to You by The Waldheim Beethoven Club)

The Panthers dominated on Friday night earning themselves a 42-14 victory over the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs.  Just because it was a mercy-rule win for Saucon Valley doesn't mean that there were no Krunch-Time! plays.  With 20 seconds remaining in the 1st Half and the Panthers handily ahead,  Saucon Valley took a shot to put a final nail in the Northern Lehigh coffin.

Panther Play of the Week: Csicsek Picks-off Bulldogs (Brought to You by Hellertown Bakery)

Northern Lehigh Bulldogs.  Saucon never punted and put up forty-two 1st Half points.  With Panther reserves playing the entire 2nd Half, the Bulldogs were held to 128 yards of total offense.  Of course, with those types of stats there had to be quite a few big plays.

On Friday night against the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs, Saucon Valley played great defense, scored early and often, then repeated the process along the way to building a 42-0 halftime lead.  At the end of a fantastic night for high school football, the Panthers celebrated a dominating 42-14, mercy-rule victory.  The Saucon Valley Panthers (5-0) now, at the midpoint of the 2018 season, are the only unbeaten team remaining in the Colonial League.

Are you ready for some high school football, Panther Nation?  Once again, the time has come to start getting pumped for another Friday night football fight.  After last week's exciting win at Salisbury, Saucon Valley (4-0) is back to defend their home turf and their undefeated record against the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (3-1).

The EDP league is a regional league meaning teams can expect to play other quality teams that are located in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Panther Play of the Week: “Sizzler” Hits 26-Power for 76 yards (Brought to You by Hellertown Bakery)

In their victory over Salisbury on Friday night, the Saucon Valley Panthers put up over 500 yards of  total offense.  Of course, with those types of stats there had to be quite a few big plays.  But, this one was so beautifully executed, that we figured it was worthy of our recognition. 

Week 4 Krunch Time! Deily Dominates (Brought to You by The Waldheim Beethoven Club)

Saucon Valley defeated Salisbury by two touchdowns on Friday night, but it wan't easy. With the Panthers winning 35-27 in a tight game against the Falcons very late in the 3rd Quarter, it was Krunch-Time! for Evan Deily and the Saucon Valley defense.  The Panther defense needed to stop the explosive Falcon offense.  With that in mind, Evan Deily came to play.
