The pool will be open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. over the summer.
The most talked about new business in Hellertown in some time hosted a grand opening event with the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce Saturday. Aloha Jay's Malasadas at 1120 Main Street opened two weeks ago and has served thousands of donut-loving customers in that brief time, with lines of people spilling out the front door a frequent sight.
Located at 1780 E. Fourth Street, near Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII and Wind Creek casino, the store is about a mile-and-a-half north of the Rt. 412 interchange on I-78.
The Saucon Valley Farmers Market will return to Hellertown this Sunday, May 5 next to the Hellertown Area Library at 409 Constitution Ave.
A ribbon-cutting event is scheduled for Thursday, May 23 and will be open to the community.

For area residents who have been waiting for a Sheetz to open on Rt. 412 in South Bethlehem, the wait is nearly over.
The township announced the job opening in an email Friday that included information about both the township and the position, which was recently vacated by township manager Mark Hudson.
