PennDOT said in a news alert Thursday that motorists should “expect significant delays” on I-78 east and westbound in Upper Saucon Township on Friday, July 31.
The delays will be caused by bridge repair work that will be taking place between exits 59 and 60, where an overpass was damaged in a double-fatal tractor-trailer accident June 1.
Those exits are for Rts. 145 and 309.
PennDOT said the work will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting.
