Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Tuesday that a township man will be charged with reckless driving, trespass by motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident involving damage to property after he allegedy drove recklessly on the Leithsville Fire Company property at 1995 Leithsville Road Jan. 24.

Police said Forest Seifert, of the 2500 block of Martins Lane, was driving a white Mitsubishi when he allegedly did a donut in the snow-covered upper field behind the fire station at 4:33 a.m.

Seifert then drove through the field, “nearly hitting the social hall after going down a slight hill,” and struck a shed before becoming stuck on a pipe, police said.

According to police, Seifert then fled the scene, leaving his stuck vehicle behind.

He was later interviewed and allegedly admitted to driving recklessly and hitting the shed, police said.
