A crash involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV in Lower Saucon Township closed a section of I-78 eastbound and caused traffic delays on the highway near Hellertown late Saturday afternoon.
A first responder posted on Saucon Source’s Facebook page that there was guide rail damage at the scene of the crash, and that PennDOT was notified of the damage.
The accident scene was reportedly cleared by around 5 p.m.
It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries as a result of the wreck.
