Dolores E. Kiak, 92, of Hellertown, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Kiak, who died Nov. 11, 1997. Dolores was born in Jeddo on Oct. 11, 1923 to the late Lawrence and Anna (Bonnick) Welsh. She was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus RC Church, Hellertown, and Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397 Ladies Auxiliary, Hellertown.

Children: Marilyn E. (Richard J.) Jacobs of Lower Saucon Township, Nicholas J. (Joan B.) Kiak, James C. Kiak, all of Hellertown; siblings: John (Betty) Welsh of Charlotte, N.C., Thomas (Gemma) Welsh of Wyomissing; grandchildren: Christopher Jacobs, Matthew Kiak, Michael Kiak. She was predeceased by siblings: Lawrence, Anna Gillen, Rose Svadeba, Helen Kusenda and Mary A. Brennan.
SERVICE
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at the church. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. There will be no calling hours.
