An Allentown man is facing DUI and other charges after police say he was found to be driving under the influence of marijuana during a traffic stop at Rt. 378 and Black River Road on the evening of May 5.

An Allentown man is facing DUI and other charges after police say he was found to be driving under the influence of marijuana during a traffic stop at Rt. 378 and Black River Road on the evening of May 5.

In a news release issued Saturday, police said Joseph Santos, 19, of the 4000 block of Kilmer Avenue, was stopped for allegedly traveling 58 mph in a 40 mph zone, and subsequently failed field sobriety tests.

Santos also had a passenger in his car who was 16 years old at the time, police said.

Santos is also charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.
