Attention parents and guardians who are also event organizers/promoters: Saucon Valley Elementary School administrators are rolling out a new protocol for submitting information about upcoming events and announcements to school staff this fall, which it is hoped will help streamline the process.

“To streamline the process of communicating community events/announcements to the students and parents of the Saucon Valley Elementary School, we will require all communication in electronic form,” elementary school associate principal Jim Deegan said.

“Events/announcements regarding Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, different community youth sports, Hellertown Library events, etc., will need to be electronically sent to li**********@sv********.org on the second and fourth Monday of the month,” he added. “These events/announcements used to be sent in our Wednesday Envelope.”

The elementary school is also requesting that community event organizers provide the school with printed copies of their announcements for parents who don’t have the means to receive the information in electronic form. Organizers should contact the school for information about the quantity needed, which will be known the week of Sept. 12.

Events/announcements will only be sent out on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

If you have questions, or for more information, please contact Jim Deegan at ja**********@sv********.org.
