Benjamin G. Ziegler, 25, of Center Valley, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016 at his residence.Ziegler He was born in Allentown on Dec. 15, 1990 to Raymond S. Ziegler of Allentown and Tracy A. (Hottenstein) Erie of Center Valley. Ben graduated from Southern Lehigh High School, Class of 2009. After high school, Ben enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving our country faithfully as a Specialist in Operation Iraqi Freedom until retiring as a disabled veteran.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving parents; stepfather: Christopher J. Erie; stepmother: Theresa A. Ziegler; sister: Brittany R. Ziegler of Emmaus; half sister: Sarah M. Erie of Center Valley; stepbrothers: Joseph A. (Jennifer M.) Brisgone of Emmaus and Brandon M. Brisgone of Bethlehem; maternal grandparents: John L. and Barbara L. (Makowiec) Hottenstein of Salisbury Township. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: George R. and Marion R. (Snyder) Ziegler.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016. The calling hour will be followed by a service at 11 a.m. at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The interment will be private with military honors at Morgenland Cemetery, Salisbury Township. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
