A Hellertown man is being charged with theft, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance, after borough police say he allegedly stole prescription medications from someone in the 200 block of Kichline Avenue.

A Hellertown man is being charged with theft, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance, after borough police say he allegedly stole prescription medications from someone in the 200 block of Kichline Avenue.

In a news release issued Monday, police said James Paul Hanley Jr., 22, was arrested sometime after the theft was reported on the evening of Aug. 19.
