4 Warnings Issued During Child Safety Seat Enforcement Initiative Monday, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township conducted a child safety seat enforcement initiative as part of Buckle Up PA at the Saucon Valley School District campus Monday from 7 to 11 a.m.

In a news release about the results of the detail, police said four written warnings were issued to motorists whose children were not correctly using their seat belts.

Police said one motorist was also cited for not wearing a seat belt, one was cited for driving with an expired inspection and one was issued a warning for speeding.

PennDOT issued a news release last week warning that Lower Saucon Police would be monitoring seat belt and child safety seat use in the coming daysb.
