Margaret Anne Harrison, 52, of Hellertown, is charged with theft by unlawful taking of moveable property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A 52-year-old Hellertown woman is charged with theft by unlawful taking of moveable property (a third-degree felony) and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (a second-degree misdemeanor), according to borough police and court documents.

Margaret Anne Harrison, no address provided, stole a car from the 900 block of Detweiler Avenue Dec. 15, police said in a news release Wednesday.

The vehicle was later located in Allentown, with Harrison allegedly in possession of it, the news release stated.

Following an arraignment before District Judge Elizabeth A. Romig-Gainer Harrison was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail on Dec. 16, according to court records.
