Joan A. Frankenfield, 84, of Emmaus, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 at ManorCare Health Services, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Horace R. Frankenfield (died Sept. 8, 2004). She was born in Hellertown on Nov. 14, 1932 to the late Edward and Bertha (Bauder) Schilling. Joan was a former member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley.
SURVIVORS
Children: Richard K. (Janet) Frankenfield of Hellertown, Lynn M. (Bret A.) Hoover of Emmaus; grandchildren: Jeffrey C. Frankenfield, Matthew S. (Lauren) Hoover and Jessica (Jordan) Weiss; great-granddaughter: Darby Hoover. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey S. Frankenfield, in 1974.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. There will be no calling hours.
