Lois S. Horney, 83, of Hanover Township died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township.

Lois S. Horney, 83, of Hanover Township died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. She was born in Fountain Hill on March 14, 1933 to the late Edward R. and Verna E. (Green) Serfass. Lois worked at Bethlehem Steel Printery for many years and was a bookkeeper for her husband’s printing company, ADCOMM. She bowled with the Jollyettes Bowling League and played with the City of Bethlehem Softball League, “The Misfits.”

SURVIVORS

Children: Linda B. (Gary G.) Peters, Lisa R. (David P.) Balash, Deanne L. Wade, all of Bethlehem; stepdaughter: Elaine (Michael) Csizmadia of Allentown; siblings: Myrna Kirkhuff, Edward Serfass all of Bethlehem; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother: George A. Serfass.

SERVICE

The service will be private at Fairview Cemetery, Bethlehem. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

CONTRIBUTIONS
