The Saucon Valley Conservancy is inviting the community to enjoy a free day filled with art, music, food and family fun during their 3rd Annual Saucon Creek Arts Festival at the Heller Homestead Park on Saturday, June 3.
A wide variety of two- and three-dimensional art including paintings, fine art photography, ceramics, jewelry and more by artists from many regions will be on display. The festival will feature more than 50 juried artists, live entertainment, children’s craft activities and guided tours of the historic homestead grounds.
A juried photography exhibit, “Our Towns – Cultural and Historical Beauties,” will be showcased on site in the Michael Heller Gallery. The gallery will also present a student competition featuring works by Saucon Valley School District students.
The Lehigh University Füd Truk (@FüdTruk on Twitter) will be on site offering healthy meal and snack options and festival favorites sourced from local farms.
Godfrey Daniels will be returning to provide live music with Dave Fry, Jason Hahn, 99Stringz, Mike Holliday and John Huffed (www.godfreydaniels.org).
The Heller Homestead is adjacent to Saucon Creek and near the popular Saucon Rail Trail.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
Convenient, free parking is located a short walk away at Water Street Park.
The Heller Homestead address is 1890-92 Friedensville Road, Bethlehem, Pa.
All proceeds from the Saucon Creek Arts Festival will be used to maintain and help improve the historic two-acre Heller Homestead, and offer art shows, the conservancy’s popular Barn tours and other educational opportunities. The Saucon Valley Conservancy relies on its partners and vendors to support its mission.
