Pre-kindergarten choices in the Saucon Valley area are expanding thanks to St. Michael the Archangel School, which is launching a new Pre-K program at its Elementary School campus at 5040 St. Joseph Road, Coopersburg, on Monday, Aug. 28.
The full-day program with early morning and after-care options for busy families will run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and is designed for children who will turn four by Oct. 15, 2017.
Certified teacher Jessica Mieczkowski and her aide will provide instruction under the supervision of Colleen Weiss, Principal of St. Michael the Archangel School.
Pennsylvania Learning Standards for Pre-Kindergarten will be followed, and the program will adhere to the same schedule as the St. Michael the Archangel Elementary and Middle schools, including holidays and snow days.
Early morning care will be available from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. and after-care will be available from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Separate applications must be completed for enrollment in these extended care programs.
The tuition for the 2017-18 school year is $3,500 for the full day program, however a 5-day-a-week, half-day program is available. More information about the half-day program’s tuition is available by contacting the school.
A non-refundable $150 registration fee is required with each Pre-K application.
A Pre-K Orientation Day is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 25 at 9 a.m.
