St. Luke’s University Health Network has added three new physicians to its expert team of obstetrics and gynecological (OB/GYN) practitioners.
“St. Luke’s is expanding its expert team of OB/GYN practitioners so the Network can meet increased demand for its personalized Mom-baby care,” said Susan Cox, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, Regional Director, Women’s Health Services at St. Luke’s University Health Network. “More and more expecting moms are choosing St. Luke’s OB/GYN practices because our doctors really know their patients and deliver the personalized care that women expect.”
At St. Luke’s, the labor and delivery team is sensitive to the unique, one-of-a-kind experience each birth brings to a family. These highly-qualified specialists will further strengthen St. Luke’s commitment to providing the highest level of quality, personalized OB/GYN care:
Kristen Stone-Mulhern, MD – St. Luke’s OB/GYN – A Woman’s Place in Bethlehem
Dr. Stone-Mulhern grew up in Chicago, but relocated to the Lehigh Valley where she spent her high school years. After attending Villanova University she moved back to Chicago, where she completed her medical school and residency training at Loyola University Medical Center.
Dr. Stone-Mulhern has extensive training in all laparoscopic surgeries, high-risk obstetrics, gynecological cancer prevention and detection, and hereditary cancer counseling.
She feels strongly about educating her patients so they feel empowered to make informed healthcare choices.
“I always encourage patients to ask questions, no matter how trivial they seem to be,” says Dr. Stone-Mulhern. “The more information they have, the better equipped they are to manage their health and the health of their babies.”
Danielle Johnson, DO – St. Luke’s Riverside Women’s Healthcare in Easton
Originally from Virginia, Dr. Johnson attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree and medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing her residency training at Palmetto Health, University of South Carolina.

Dr. Johnson places a strong emphasis on advocacy; specifically, giving women the health information they need to make the choices that are best for them and their families.
“I’m so excited to join St. Luke’s Riverside Women’s Healthcare,” says Dr. Johnson, “because their philosophy aligns with mine. They empower women through education and exceptional, personalized care.”
