An unusal opportunity exists for an entrepeneur or developer to purchase nearly an entire block of real estate with frontage on both Main and Front streets in Hellertown borough.

The property includes the former Kichline’s service station, the business’s adjacent auto parts warehouse and a large single-family home at Main and Pine streets. The address for the listing is 194 Main St., Hellertown, PA 18055.

The family-owned service station and auto parts store closed at the end of May.

The purchase of all equipment left inside is now “negotiable,” according to Grace Realty Co. of Bethlehem, which listed the entire .82 acre property for $1.25 million earlier this month.

The auto parts store includes a showroom and private office, and the former service station is equipped with three front bays, two rear bays, two side truck bays and an office, per the listing.

“This is a great opportunity on heavily traveled Route 412,” it states. “(It is) located in the mixed zoning district, which has a large number of permitted uses. The way the buildings are situated they would allow for an owner to use the portion of the buildings needed and rent out portions for additional income.”
