William Zakocs, 93, of Lower Saucon Township, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of Betty Lou (Poehler) Zakocs. William was born in Bethlehem on June 12, 1926 to the late Alexander and Anna (Mellin) Zakocs. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Bill worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier for the Bethlehem Post Office for 32 years until retiring. He was a member of New Covenant Christian Community Church, Bethlehem.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his wife of 60 years; sons: William (Teresa H.) Zakocs Jr. of Lower Saucon Township, Chris (Sonia) Zakocs of Hellertown. He was predeceased by sister: Velma Kray.
SERVICE
