The League of Women Voters of Bucks County and the NAACP Bucks County have joined with Bucks County Community College to host a nonpartisan forum on education for the 20 candidates currently running for 10 state House seats in the county.
Bucks County Community College will host a forum about human trafficking on March 7.
Pastor Phil Spohn says a forum featuring all six Lower Saucon Township Council candidates was planned, but plans for it fell apart when invitations to two Republican incumbents running for re-election were ignored. Spohn is pastor of Christ Lutheran Hellertown and a Lower Saucon Township resident.
