The ongoing work to open the Saucon Valley area’s first YMCA will be the subject of an upcoming Open Community Forum at Southern Lehigh High School in Center Valley.
Saucon Valley School District residents who wanted to learn more about the individuals running for school board were able to hear some of them answer questions and highlight their qualifications at a Northampton Community College-sponsored forum Monday.
Saucon Valley School District residents who want to learn more about the candidates for school board will have an opportunity to do that at a forum presented by Northampton Community College’s Center for Civic and Community Engagement and the George S. McElwee Forum for Excellence in Public Service.
Although attendees were scarce at a forum for Lower Saucon Township Council candidates organized by Saucon Source and held at the Heller-Wagner Grist Mill’s Tavern Room in Hellertown Thursday night, those who did attend it said they were grateful for the opportunity to hear from some of the candidates in their own words.
