Lower Saucon Township Police say a Hellertown woman was charged with DUI following an accident in which she allegedly damaged a fence in the 3600 block of Hickory Hill Road.

In a news release issued Monday, police said Kelly Braun, 30, of W. Saucon Street, was eastbound during a snowstorm at 1:14 a.m. March 6 when she lost control of her car and crashed through the fence.

Police said that after being processed at the Bethlehem DUI Center, Braun’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was determined to be .20 percent. The legal BAC limit for most drivers in Pennsylvania is .08 percent.

In addition to DUI, Braun has been charged with driving at an unsafe speed, police said.
