Women in ‘Flowing Dresses’ Shoplifted $1300 in Merchandise from Giant, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Friday that two women stole more than $1,300 worth of merchandise from the Giant Food Store at 1880 Leithsville Road in the Creekside Marketplace shopping center Feb. 12.

Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Friday that two women allegedly stole more than $1,300 worth of merchandise from the Giant Food Store at 1880 Leithsville Road in the Creekside Marketplace shopping center Feb. 12.

In a news release, police said the women were “wearing flowing dresses and scarves,” have black hair and may be of Middle Eastern or Indian descent.

They were accompanied by a young child at the time of the alleged incident, police added.

The pair was last scene shortly after 4 p.m. headed north on Rt. 412 in a “grayish-blue minivan,” the news release said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
