A Hellertown woman was cited for allegedly failing to yield at a roadway after Lower Saucon Township Police say she caused an accident that injured another motorist at Polk Valley and Reservoir roads Monday afternoon.
In a news release issued Tuesday, police said Lisbeth Tomasetti, 49, of the 300 block of E. High St., “proceeded through the intersection without clearance” and struck a car driven by a 79-year-old Lower Saucon man.
The man complained of neck pain and “was very disoriented” following the 12:10 p.m. crash, police said, adding that he was transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital for treatment.
The intersection of Reservoir Road (looking north) and Polk Valley Road near the Saucon Valley School District campus in Lower Saucon Township. Reservoir Road traffic has a stop sign, while Polk Valley Road traffic does not.
