Woman Cited Following Polk Valley Road Accident, Police Say

A Hellertown woman was cited for allegedly failing to yield at a roadway after Lower Saucon Township Police say she caused an accident at Polk Valley and Reservoir roads Monday afternoon.

A Hellertown woman was cited for allegedly failing to yield at a roadway after Lower Saucon Township Police say she caused an accident that injured another motorist at Polk Valley and Reservoir roads Monday afternoon.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said Lisbeth Tomasetti, 49, of the 300 block of E. High St., “proceeded through the intersection without clearance” and struck a car driven by a 79-year-old Lower Saucon man.

The man complained of neck pain and “was very disoriented” following the 12:10 p.m. crash, police said, adding that he was transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital for treatment.
