A Lower Saucon Township woman is charged with simple assault and harassment, after police say she attacked her ex-boyfriend at his Apple Street home Monday.

In a news release issued Saturday, police said Amanda C. Luckey, 33, of the 2200 block of Silver Creek Road, showed up at her ex’s residence shortly before midnight “and proceeded to attack him when he opened the door.”

Police said the man “was observed to have a bloody right index finger, which he said occurred as a result of Luckey biting his finger.”

Luckey was arrested at the scene, police added.

According to court records, she was later arraigned and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $2,500 bail, which was posted Tuesday.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 8 before District Judge Anthony G. Rapp Jr.
