Hellertown Police say an Arkadelphia, Ark., man was arrested for DUI after he allegedly drove drunk through a used car lot at Main and Kichline avenues shortly after 1 a.m. Oct. 12.

In a news release issued Wednesday, police said De Yu Huang, 42, of the 900 block of S. 26th Street, was stopped at the Chevy 21 lot after he allegedly tried “to drive between the vehicles to exit the parking lot.”

Police said Huang was also arrested for allegedly driving without insurance and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Court records indicate Huang was bailed out Oct. 12.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 30 before District Judge Elizabeth Romig-Gainer.
