Joseph W. Blazick, 81, of Upper Saucon Township died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Madeline M. Blazick, who died Dec. 19, 2012. Joseph was born in Hunlock Township, Luzerne County, on July 26, 1935 to the late Joseph W. Blazick Sr. and Mary Blazick. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force for 37 years during the Vietnam War and was stationed at Willow Grove Naval Air Station. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coopersburg.
SURVIVORS
Sons: Joseph W. Jr., at home, Stephen J., Esquire, of Philadelphia; siblings: Eleanor Germaine of Sanford, Fla., Gerald of Hunlock Creek. He was predeceased by brother: Leonard.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5050 St. Joseph’s Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services at Calvary Cemetery, Upper Saucon Township. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
