Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Saturday that a Palmer Township man has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing gold jewelry from an East Raders Lane home he was working in Oct. 7.

According to police, William Hill, 59, of the first block of Freedom Terrace, was working in the home alone during the evening hours because the owner “went out for the evening.”
