Motorists who travel I-78 in Northampton County can expect to encounter road work later this week, according to PennDOT.
On Wednesday, Jan. 17 PennDOT maintenance forces will be patching potholes between the Lehigh County line and Exit 75 (Rt. 611/Easton).
There will be several rolling roadblocks as the work is performed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., PennDOT said.
On Thursday, Jan. 18 there will be an eastbound lane restriction between Exit 67 (Rt. 412) and Exit 71 (Rt. 33) for a bridge repair that is scheduled for between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Motorists should expect delays and use caution when traveling through any work zones.
