Anita L. Weiand, 79, of Lower Saucon Township, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Raymond C. Weiand, who died Oct. 3, 2017. She was born in Hellertown on June 14, 1938 to the late Paul E. and Jessie O. (Harvey) Leith. Anita worked for the former Zawick Manufacturing in Hellertown as a sewing machine operator for many years until retiring. She was a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township.

Sister: Phyllis A. Sell of Schnecksville; nieces: Vicki J. Sell of Zionsville, Terri L. Sell of New Hope; 4 great-nieces; 8 great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son: Bryan R. in 1997; and nephew: Robert E. Sell Jr. in 1997.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 2 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
