Police Ask Residents to Lock Cars After Thefts from Unsecured Vehicles

In a news release Friday Hellertown Police said that on June 14 personal belongings were stolen from some vehicles that were left unsecured in the 1000 block of Detweiler Avenue.

Hellertown Police issued a new release Saturday in which they asked residents to lock their cars.

In the news release, police said that on June 14 personal belongings were stolen from some vehicles that were left unsecured in the 1000 block of Detweiler Avenue.

The thefts were reported early that morning, according to the news release.

“Lock your vehicles and homes to provide security to your assets,” police said in the news release.
