Friday’s view was breathtaking from the atop the ridge that overlooks Camelback Mountain Resort in the Pocono mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania; a popular site for wedding ceremonies at the year-round resort in Monroe County. Fall foliage in the area was nearly at its peak this weekend, which made for a dazzling display of colors that were visible for miles around. If leaf peepers were out to enjoy nature’s display, they hopefully did so on Friday or Saturday, as a soaking rain that forced the cancellation of Hellertown’s Saucon Valley Spirit Parade on Sunday made for damp, chilly and foggy outside conditions.
