Cherokee found herself looking for a new home along with her two brothers Indie and Tosh after their owner unexpectedly passed away. Luckily, they ended up at the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, where they are being very well taken care of. However, they would much more prefer homes of their own.
Albert is a big, goofy, playful pup. At about 13 months old he has a lot of energy to burn and still has manners to learn. But if you’re looking for a buddy with whom to go on adventures, Albert is the pup for you!
For many people the thought of raising a puppy to adulthood only to then give him up to another person is probably difficult to fathom. That’s not the case for a dedicated group of Saucon Valley residents who are volunteer puppy trainers for The Seeing Eye.
If you have already been taking your dog to Dimmick Park in Hellertown, the good news is soon you’ll be able to do so legally.
The Pennsylvania SPCA is collecting donations to help pay for the temporary care of 13 dogs and puppies, a cat, seven birds and minnows/guppies that were removed from a home at 161 Main Street last week due to unsanitary and possibly unhealthy conditions.
Hellertown Police are asking for the public’s help with identifying a woman they say dumped a litter of six newborn, possibly Chihuahua puppies on the department’s doorstep Monday at about 4:45 p.m.
