To Swimmers’ Delight, Fountain Hill Pool Reopens
Just in time to help borough residents beat the heat, the Fountain Hill Pool reopened Thursday following a nearly three-year closure. The facility had fallen into disrepair, and a coalition of volunteers in partnership with the borough spent the past year-and-a-half planning and completing renovations that paved the way for the pool to once again welcome swimmers of all ages.

Hellertown area residents are looking forward to another summer of lounging around and swimming in the borough's 85-year-old swimming pool, which opens for the 2024 season this Saturday, June 8.
Fountain Hill Pool to Open for Summer Fun
The pool will be open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. over the summer.
Adopting Hellertown Police Study’s Recommendations Could Be Costly, Council Told
Hellertown borough councilman Andrew Hughes said a 9 mill property tax hike would be necessary to afford adoption of the recommendations included in a recent report by the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association, which conducted a study of the Hellertown Police Department in the wake of theft charges being filed against its former chief last year. Hughes said that would translate to a 41.9 percent property tax increase in year one.
2024 Bethlehem Pool Passes Now on Sale
Two types of passes--a Regional All-City Pool Pass that includes access to Memorial Pool and a Neighborhood Pool Pass available for Clearview, Stark, Yosko and Westside pools only--are available for purchase.
