SV Alumni Association Seeks Golfers for 2nd Annual Tournament

The Saucon Valley Alumni Association is seeking golfers for its second annual golf tournament, which will be held Monday, Sept. 21 at Southmoore Golf Course in Bath.

The scramble tournament will have a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The registration fee is $75 per player.

Included in the greens fees are: free beer, free beverages and hot dogs at the turn, a free continental breakfast, a free banquet-style dinner, free range balls at the practice range, an on-cart goodie bag, and the opportunity to win prizes in a longest drive contest.

Other prizes/specials will include a new car (for a hole-in-one on a designated par 3 hole), a lottery tree, raffle door prizes, four “pot of gold” holes, mulligans and “four flights with first place winners.”

Funds raised by the tournament will benefit the alumni association, which provides scholarships for graduating Saucon Valley High School seniors among other things.
