Hellertown-area motorists and residents should expect road work to have eight streets temporarily closed on Friday, Sept. 25.

According to a post on the borough’s Facebook page, the streets that will be closed for sealcoating are: Ellen Street, Henry Street, Spruce Street, Ackerman Street, Riegel Street, Bleyler Street, Burkhardt Street and Wagner Avenue.
The affected roadways will be closed to both traffic and parking while the work is taking place, and parked vehicles will need to be removed from them by 7 a.m.
All affected roads will be posted with signs advertising the work on Wednesday.
