Lower Saucon Township Police say they charged a township man with reckless driving and criminal mischief after he allegedly drove through two neighbors’ yards in the 1800 block of Reading Drive in his Camaro early on the morning of Oct. 2.

In a news release issued Monday, police said Daniel Kaufman was also identified as the person who drove into a utility pole in Hellertown shortly before the yards were driven through.

“Witnesses (in Hellertown) were able to give police a registration which came back to Kaufman,” police said.

“When police went to Kaufman’s home to make contact with him and speak to him regarding the incident police also…observed where Kaufman’s vehicle drove through the two neighbors’ yards near his home with mud tracks leading toward Kaufman’s home and fresh grass and mud plastered all over Kaufman’s Camaro,” they added.
