Police, fire and other emergency personnel responded to the scene of an accident at Main and Saucon streets in Hellertown Sunday night. A minivan apparently damaged the entrance to a hair salon at the corner of Main and W. Saucon streets.
A two-vehicle crash near Main and Saucon streets in Hellertown temporarily closed Route 412 (Main Street) from Magnolia Road to Water Street Sunday night.
Eyewitnesses reported that one of the vehicles–a minivan–came to rest just outside the front entrance to a hair salon at the corner of Main and W. Saucon streets.
The other vehicle reportedly came to rest near a yoga studio on the other side of the street.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured in the accident, but a witness said a woman was seen being taken away from the scene by police in handcuffs.
