Expect Stoppages at Rt. 412, Emery Street Thursday

PennDOT has issued a travel advisory for Thursday, June 16, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., when travel lanes will be open with intermittent stoppages controlled by flaggers on Rt. 412 at the Emery Street intersection in Bethlehem.

PennDOT has issued a travel advisory forĀ Thursday, June 16, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., when travel lanes will be open with intermittent stoppages controlled by flaggers on Rt. 412 (E. Fourth Street) at the Emery Street intersection in Bethlehem.

“The southbound 412 left turn lane at Emery Street will be closed during this time period,” the advisory stated. “Southbound 412 to Emery Street traffic will be provided advance notice to turn left at Lynn Avenue. Northbound 412 right turns into Emery Street will be permitted.”

“Emery Street outbound traffic from (the) LVIP property towards 412 will be detoured to Lynn Avenue via Spillman Avenue,” the advisory further stated. “Utility trench repair in the 412/Emery Street intersection will be performed during this time.”

Motorists should expect delays and proceed through the work area with caution, as well as consider alternate routes, PennDOT advised.
