Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Thursday afternoon that they are investigating thefts from “multiple vehicles” in the Society Hill development.

According to police, between 12:30 and 6 a.m. Thursday, someone or multiple people entered and stole items from vehicles in the 1900 block of Willings Lane.

Sunglasses, iPods, $8 in change, and a black wallet containing a Social Security card and credit/debit cards and a vehicle registration card were stolen, police said.

“Approximately $523 worth of items (were) taken in both incidents,” they added.

A Saucon Source reader also reported via Facebook that an unlocked parked car on Mansfield Street was rifled through early Thursday.

Residents of the area are reminded to lock their car doors.
