Two teenage boys were cited after police say one of them threw litter out a car window in the 2400 block of Polk Valley Road Friday afternoon.

Two teenage boys were cited after police say one of them threw litter out a car window in the 2400 block of Polk Valley Road Friday shortly before 4 p.m.

In a news release issued Wednesday, police said a 14-year-old boy threw trash onto the road and private property “on purpose” and subsequently admitted to doing so.

The 14-year-old was cited for throwing the garbage out the window and the 16-year-old driver of the vehicle was “cited for allowing the act,” police said.
