Robert S. Seaman, 93, of Nazareth, formerly of Hellertown, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth. Born Feb. 9, 1924 in Lansford, Pa., he was the son of the late Mary (Stach) and Michael Seaman. He was married to Therese (Silvoy) Seaman, with whom he celebrated 71 years of marriage May 18. Robert retired from Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, Hellertown. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army.
SURVIVORS
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Therese; son, Robert Seaman Jr. and wife, Michelle, and daughters, Corinne Remaly wife of Roy and Janice Petruccelli wife of Edward; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Mollie, Chad, Alyssa, Erin, Gregory, Aimee, Andrew and Jill; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Seaman, and sisters, Bernadine Seaman and Dorothy Padora.
SERVICES
A viewing will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown, from 9 to 10 a.m. The viewing will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
