For decades it was a convenient no frills place where you could get your clothes washed and tumble-dried. Now, the former Browns Laundromat on W. Water Street near the center of Hellertown is being renovated. All of the laundromat’s equipment has been removed. What type of business would you like to open in this location?

The nearly 1,000 square-foot space is available to lease for $1,800 a month, according to owner Bob Singley.

Neighbors include beer distributor Frankie V’s, new age shop Kindred Spirits Books & Gifts, I’m Hungry Food Depot and Saucon Valley Karate Academy.

The commercial space is also near Water Street Park, the Saucon Rail Trail, the Saucon Creek, residential communities, Main Street restaurants, Hellertown Borough Hall, Lost Tavern Brewing and numerous other retail and service-related businesses.
