Pet Cat May Have Been Shot, Lower Saucon Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said Thursday that they are investigating a case involving animal abuse in the 2100 block of Skyline Drive.

In a news release, police said the investigation began after a resident reported that her cat “had returned home from being outside for some time” with an injury to its mouth.

After “checking the animal further and taking it to the vet, (it was determined that it was a) possible injury from a gun shot,” police said.

The cat returned home at around 5:15 p.m. Thursday.

Anyone with information pertaining to this case is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
