Justin Kline is a licensed realtor with Coldwell Banker Hearthside, Realtors, Hellertown and owner of Justin Kline Real Estate. Saucon Source recently caught up with him to find out more about his new Facebook, YouTube and Instagram channels, On The Go With Justin Kline, which are already helping connect local real estate buyers, sellers and residents with information in and about their community.
Q. What is your background in local real estate? How long have you been a realtor and why did you choose your career? What do you like about it?
A. I have been a Real Estate agent for about 5 years. At the time, I chose real estate because of the ease of entry, which is ironic considering that’s what I dislike most about the industry today. I was a very different person back then. I hardly did any research prior and didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. What I did know is that I could get a license to sell real estate in 60 hours. (See how that could be a problem.)
There are a lot of things people like about being a Realtor, such as making your own hours, not having a boss to answer to and not being stuck in an office all day. What I love about being a Real Estate Agent the most is the people. I get to rekindle old relationships and form new ones constantly, and that is truly what brings me joy.
Q. What is your new Facebook real estate channel going to be about? How will it be different from anything else that’s out there? What gave you the idea for it?
On The Go with Justin Kline is a way for the community to experience first-hand life in the Lehigh Valley through video. It will focus on local people, businesses, large neighborhood events, local real estate, grand openings, etc. This community is incredibly rich in both history and up-and-comers, so if we can show even just a glimpse of it, we will have accomplished a great deal. Nowadays people may not have time to check out the newest restaurant or that neighborhood barber shop that just opened, or know that an artisan-style chocolate shop is right around the corner. With OTG the experience and knowledge will be delivered directly to you. I have been so blessed on my real estate journey, and have had the pleasure of meeting some really positive, encouraging and inspiring people. These people, these businesses and this community should be shared!
Q. What are some examples of exclusive programs you will be producing for the channel? How long will they be? How often will you upload new videos? Will the content be available anywhere else besides Facebook? Is there a way to subscribe to it?
A. To start, we will be exclusively on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, but as we progress we will consider expanding to other outlets. Subscribing is easy. You can simply like and follow the Facebook Page ‘On The Go with Justin Kline,’ follow the Instagram feed and subscribe to the same YouTube channel. The length of the videos will vary, from 10-20 second quick tip videos to 5-6 minute videos when we are featuring a business. As far as examples, our first program will promote “Hidden Gems” and feature local businesses you may not be familiar with. For more I guess you will just have to tune in!
Q. How do you envision partnering with other local businesses in the programs you’ll be producing?
A. I wouldn’t consider this to be a partnering relationship with these businesses. What OTG wants to do is more so play the “middle man.” We want to introduce the community to the community, if that makes sense. We want to reach those who may not have had a chance to venture out and take in all their area has to offer.
Q. Do you plan to incorporate information about community events or of general interest into your videos or will they strictly be about local real estate?
A. Of course! However, we will not be limiting our video content to just those subjects. Real estate and community events are important pieces to a much larger puzzle.
Q. If someone’s not currently buying or selling a home, should they still tune in–and why?
A. Absolutely! We plan to use this as an opportunity to showcase the community and the people that make it great!
Q. Are you looking for local people to interview or feature in the future? If yes, how should they contact you?
A. This is a new and very exciting venture for us, so we have taken on a very proactive approach to align ourselves with potential features. On a daily basis, we are connecting with locals and doing our best to build those relationships as a foundation to our video content. The effort on our part to make the first contact is very rewarding.
Q. How can someone get in touch with you?
A. First please like the page and then private message me, or email Justin@JustinKlineRealEstate.
