Richland Township Police said Thursday that they’re investigating a theft of pickup truck tailgates from a car and truck dealership on Rt. 309 near Quakertown.

Richland Township Police said Thursday that they’re investigating a theft of pickup truck tailgates from a car and truck dealership on Rt. 309 near Quakertown.

Police said in a post on their Crimewatch website that the tailgates were stolen from Star Buick GMC, 480 N. West End Blvd., Quakertown, sometime Dec. 15.

Police shared a surveillance photo of a black pickup truck which they said the suspect in the thefts was driving when leaving the scene.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the truck or who has information about the thefts to contact Det. Sgt. Raymond Aleman at ra**@ri****************.org or to leave submit a tip via their Crimewatch page.
