The cafe seating area inside Mystical Treatsss features mismatched furniture, purple walls and lots of whimsy in keeping with its “fantasy fun” theme. The cafe is located at 1310 Main St., Hellertown.
Spring is right around the corner and so is the fantasy fun at Mystical Treatsss Cafe in Hellertown, where mermaids, unicorns, dragons and princesses–and anyone who wants to be one–are happily at home.
The cafe which specializes in serving up delicious nitrogen-frozen ice cream treats, artisanal coffees, hot foods and more opened in October, and will celebrate its official grand opening as well as the welcome arrival of spring with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, March 22 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Everyone’s invited to the party, where there will be light bites, drinks and even a mermaid giveaway. Hear stories about life under the sea from Misty the Mermaid.
There will also be live music by the Mighty Manatees, animal face painting for kids and a visit from a friendly clown.
The ribbon-cutting with the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce will be held at 5:45 p.m., and there will be ample time to explore the store–where you’ll also find fantasy-themed gifts for all ages–as you enjoy free tastings of Mystical Treatsss’ ice cream, smoothies, infused teas, freshly squeezed lemonade, barbecue and other foods.
And the fun doesn’t end on Friday…
The next day, Saturday, March 23, Mystical Treatsss will host a Make Your Own Fairy Jar craft event at 2:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $15 and pre-payment is required.
Don’t forget to also mark your calendars for Mystical Treatsss Cafe’s Free Egg Hunt for ages three to five on Saturday, April 20 at 11:15 a.m. The Easter Bunny himself will be there. Please bring a bag or basket and plan to arrive before 11:15 a.m., because the egg hunt will begin promptly.

Each party package includes the use of the party room for two hours, a staff member who will assist with the party, a custom greeting displayed on a TV screen, games, a small ice cream (choice of two flavors) for each attendee, drinking water, the use of a karaoke machine and the use of Mystical Treatsss’ stuff-a-dragon machine (guests receive a small animal and the birthday child gets a large animal).
