The Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce's annual Music in the Park Summer Concert Series kicks off Sunday, May 19 at 6 p.m. in Morris J. Dimmick Park in Hellertown.
Tickets for an Aug. 30 show by Get The Led Out (GTLO) went on sale Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and start at $32 for lawn seating, with reserved seats ranging in price from $40 to $105.
The Bach Choir of Bethlehem will present a premiere performance of Emmy Award-winning composer Jasmine Arielle Barnes’ new piece of music, “Songs for the People,” as part of their February Bach at Noon concert.
In addition to traditional Trick-or-Treat, this Halloween there will be something else for families to do in Hellertown, and for those with tiny trick-or-treaters it may be an attractive option.

An unusually dry summer season suddenly turned wet when a rain shower drifted over Hellertown Sunday evening, but residents who were attending a free concert in the borough's Dimmick Park were still able to enjoy the music that was being performed.
It's been a few years since a Community Day event was held in Hellertown, and while some things have changed, the sense of community for which the borough is known hasn't. Organizers of this year's Community Day, which will be held Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Dimmick Park, aim to have that pride of place on full display.
