Lower Saucon Township Police are asking for the public’s help with identifying a man suspected of stealing two high-priced smartphones from the AT&T Store at 1868 Leithsville Road Monday.

In a post published on their Crimewatch site Tuesday, police said officers were dispatched to the store–which is located in the Creekview Marketplace shopping center–at 7:09 p.m. for a report of the theft.

Upon arriving police said officers learned that the man pictured in the store surveillance images below entered the store just before closing time and asked the clerk for the price of an item.

“While the clerk was checking on the price the male grabbed two Samsung cell phones, a Galaxy Note and a S9+,” police said, adding that he “then ran out the front door of the store in an unknown direction.”

Police described the suspect as “a thin black male with some facial hair, wearing a dark colored jacket with writing on the left front and a white hat with an unknown logo.”

Anyone who can identify this man or who has any other information about the theft is asked to submit an anonymous tip via the Lower Saucon Township Police Department’s Crimewatch page or call the department at 610-317-6110 and reference Incident #20190218M8762.
