Lower Saucon Township Police said Saturday they are investigating a burglary in the 2500 block of Applebutter Road, although nothing appeared to be missing from the residence that was entered by force.

Police identified the property address as 2559 Applebutter Road and the property owner as Main Stay North Cornerstone.

The building is used as a group home facility and has been the scene of various other recent incidents involving occupants, but it has been unoccupied “for some time” and was empty at the time of the reported burglary Wednesday, police said.

When a worker arrived at the property Wednesday morning, police said “three doors were found to be kicked/busted in.”

New tenants will be occupying the home “in the next couple weeks,” police added.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
